Introduction​:

Cold rolled stainless steel strip is made of hot rolled stainless steel strip as blank and further cold rolled. Compared with the hot rolled strip, it has higher dimensional accuracy, lower surface roughness, better surface quality, smooth, and higher strength. Therefore, the thinner cold-rolled strip can replace the thicker hot-rolled strip for the same purpose to save the amount of steel, which is of great economic significance.

What is half hard stainless steel?

301-1/2 Hard is an austenitic stainless steel that has been cold rolled to its 1/2 hard condition. This makes it ideal for applications requiring both formability and tensile strength of 150,000 PSI and yield strength of 110,000 PSI.
