IF HEAD SLAMS WHEN OPENING,HOW TO DEAL WITH?

1. Whether transmission parts and curved bearing has bearing beads.
2. whether the fastening screw of connector at the bottom of high pressure cylinder is

loose.
3. Check the shock absorber. Remove the oil pipe plug from top of shock absorber and

check oil level. If oil is low refill with hydraulic oil and replace pipe plug.

4. Shock may be out of adjustment. On right side of press locate shock and adjusting screw “Y”. Loosen jam nut on adjusting screw and screw adjusting screw clockwise into the shock for one or two full turns. Retighten jam nut and test press.

5. Shock absorber connecting rod may be too long and shock bottoms internally. With head in open position adjusts shock absorber connecting rod. Screw the rod end clockwise further on to the connecting rod in two rounds.
