Our 3105 aluminum strip is an exceptional base material
specifically designed for aluminum ROPP/screw/crown caps and
various bottle cap closures. The unique properties of 3105 aluminum
alloy deliver outstanding deep drawing capabilities, excellent
formability, superior corrosion resistance, and impressive surface
treatment results.
As part of the 3xxx series Al-Mn anti-rust alloy family, 3105
aluminum strip achieves enhanced strength through cold processing.
The addition of manganese significantly improves weld strength,
reduces cracking tendencies, and provides excellent weldability.
This makes 3105 aluminum strip ideal for lamp holders, shutters,
sheet metal processing workpieces, color coated aluminum strips,
roof panels, corrugated boards, and more. The most commonly used
tempers include 3105 H24 and 3105 H18 aluminum strip.
Aluminum Series Characteristics
1xxx Series: Contains over 99.00% aluminum with excellent electrical
conductivity, corrosion resistance, and welding performance. Ideal
for conventional industrial applications.
2xxx Series: High hardness alloys with 3-5% copper content, enhanced with
manganese, magnesium, lead, and bismuth for improved machinability.
Primarily used in aviation applications.
3xxx Series: Manganese-based alloys (1.0-1.5%) offering superior rust
prevention, excellent corrosion resistance, weldability, and
plasticity.
5xxx Series: Magnesium-based alloys featuring low density, high tensile
strength, excellent elongation, and good fatigue strength. Widely
used in conventional industries.
6xxx Series: Magnesium-silicon alloys suitable for applications requiring
exceptional corrosion resistance and oxidation performance.
7xxx Series: Aerospace-grade aluminum-magnesium-zinc-copper alloys offering
